骨与关节精准医学教育部工程研究中心简介

        北京大学第三医院骨科创建于1958年,经过六十余年积累沉淀,已经成为国内领先、国际有影响力的国家级重点学科。在此基础上,2019年10月经教育部批准,立项建设“骨与关节精准医学”教育部工程研究中心。该中心是国内第一个骨与关节领域的工程研究中心,由北医三院骨科李危石教授担任中心主任,拥有骨科、影像学科、康复科等多个一流学科研究团队,通过构建多学科交叉融合平台,成为集精准医疗、科研创新、成果转化为一体的专业性综合性研究中心。

  中心的主要目标是聚焦于骨与关节精准医学领域,搭建学科交叉融合的研究平台;培养临床与基础医学、生物医学工程、医械研发和应用型复合人才;研发创新型医疗器械、完成进口产品替代和超越;做真正能转化的临床研究和创新;探索精准医学工程研究中心建设的新模式。

  中心拥有一流的研究团队, 中心主任为李危石教授,技术牵头人分别由北京大学第三医院李危石教授、刘忠军教授、韩鸿宾教授和北京航空航天大学王田苗教授担任,包括医院骨科、影像学科、康复科等多个骨与关节相关学科研究团队。中心具备完善的科研创新转化平台,雄厚的科研实力和成果转化基础,现承担国家科技部重点专项、国家自然科学基金等国家级省部级课题科研项目30余项,已完成国家级省部级课题100余项,研究团队在相关领域发表SCI论文累计500余篇,获得发明专利授权150余项。同时,有国内外顶尖骨科医疗器械公司参与本中心的临床试验、医疗创新产品研发与转化。

  中心近年来重要科研成果及贡献有:2006年“骨关节炎及软骨组织工程研究”获得中华医学会科技进步二等奖和北京市科委科技三等奖。2011年“脊柱肿瘤的外科诊断与治疗研究”获教育部科技进步二等奖;2012 年“胸椎管狭窄症关键诊疗技术的建立与应用”获北京市科学技术进步二等奖。2012年“胸腰椎严重后凸畸形的外科治疗及相关技术研究”荣获北京市科委“首都十大疾病科技攻关(创新型科技成果奖)”,骨科被北京市科委授予“骨科疾病领域北京临床医学研究中心”。2019年“3D打印钛合金骨科植入物的临床应用与关键技术研究”荣获北京科技进步一等奖。中心在国内率先将3D打印技术应用到骨与关节领域,研发的3D打印产品已获得FDA及CFDA注册批准。

  Engineering Research Center of “Bone and Joint Precision Medicine”, Ministry of Education

  The orthopedic department of Peking University Third Hospital was firstly founded in 1958. With more than 60 years of experience, it has become a leading national key disciplinewith international influence. Based on that, in October 2019,Engineering Research Center of “Bone and Joint Precision Medicine” (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”)was established with the approval of Ministry of Education. The Center, directed by Professor Li Weishi of orthopedic department of Peking University Third Hospital, was the first engineering research center of bone and joint in China. It has a number of first-class research teams in orthopedics, imaging, rehabilitation and other disciplines. By building aninterdisciplinary platform,it becomes a professional comprehensive research center integrating precision medicine, scientific research innovation and clinical application.

  The main goal of the Center is to build a research platform for interdisciplinary integrationfocusing on the precision medicine of bone and joint. Training clinical and basic medicinecomposite talents inbiomedical engineering, R&D and application of medical equipment; researching and developing innovative medical equipment to replace and surpass imports; doing clinical research and innovation with practical effect; and exploring a new mode of engineering research center of precision medicine.

  The Center has first-class research teams. The director is Professor Li Weishi, and the technical leaders are respectively Professor Li Weishi, Professor Liu Zhongjun, Professor Han Hongbin of Peking University Third Hospital and Professor Wang Tianmiao of Beihang University. The Center has a number of research teams in orthopedics, imaging, rehabilitation and other bone and joint related disciplines. Besides, it hasa sound platformfor scientific research innovation and transformation, strong scientific research strength and firm achievements transformation foundation. At present, it undertakes more than 30 state, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects including National Science and Technology Major Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and NSFC, and has completed over 100 state, provincial and ministerial research projects. More than 500 SCI papers in related fields have been published, and more than 150 invention patents have been authorized.

  The following are major achievements and contributions of the Center in recent years. In 2006, “Research on Osteoarthritis and Cartilage Tissue Engineering” won the second class prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Medical Association and the third class prize of Science and Technology Award of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. In 2011, “Research on Surgical Diagnosis and Treatment of Spinal Tumor” won the second class prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education. In 2012, “Establishment and Application of Key Diagnosis and Treatment Technology of Thoracic Spinal Stenosis” won the second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. In the same year, “Surgical treatment of severe kyphosis of thoracolumbar spine and related technical research” won the “(Innovative Scientific and Technological Achievements Award of) Scientific and Technological Research Project on Capital Top Ten Diseases”. And the orthopedics department was awarded “Beijing Clinical Medical Research Center in Orthopedics” by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. In 2019, “Clinical Application and Key Technology Research of 3D Printing Titanium Alloy for Orthopedic Implants” won the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award. The Center takes the lead in applying 3D printing technology to bone and joint in China, and its 3D printing products have been registered and approved by FDA and CFDA.
