Brain Extracellular Gap Imaging and Homeostasis Theory of Brain Partitioning-Han Hongbin's Team

Established novel imaging analysis technologies for systematic investigation of brain extracellular space (ECS) ultrastructure and interstitial fluid (ISF) lymphatic-like drainage. Discovered ECS regional drainage patterns and proposed the compartmentalized homeostasis theory. Deciphered the molecular transport mechanism in ECS and developed regulatory technologies applied across clinical medicine, basic research, pharmacology, and aerospace medicine. This field has ranked first globally in academic citation impact over the past five years, recognized in China's Annual Top 10 Medical Science News and awarded the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award First Prize.
