Investigated the transmission and prevention of clinically critical drug-resistant pathogens (e.g., MRSA, CRE), clarifying evolutionary patterns of resistant clones and molecular mechanisms of resistance. Reported China's first cases of super fungus (Candida auris) and hypervirulent carbapenem-resistant bacteria. Discovered multiple novel resistance genes and established a rapid detection platform for pathogens and resistance genes. These findings were translated into national industry standards and technical guidelines, significantly advancing clinical microbiology and guiding rational antimicrobial use.
