Upholding Beliefs and Taking on ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Communist Party of China, Bai Yitong demonstrates the loyalty and responsibility of young people through practical actions. She actively participates in work-study programs and was awarded the College-level "Work-Study Star". She serves as a peer counselor for the 2024 grade, fully supporting and guiding the growth of new students. She has led teams to organize ideological and political practice activities on multiple occasions to strengthen her party spirit cultivation. Additionally, as Vice President of the Sunshine Charity Clinic, Assistant at the Employment Center of Peking University Health Science Center, and Representative of the Youth Joint Committee in her hometown, she designs volunteer activities, engages in employment services, and contributes to the development of youth undertakings in her hometown.

Rooted in Exploration and Pursuing KnowledgeBai Yitong is diligent and achieved excellent academic results, ranking among the top in multiple professional courses. In the process of participating in scientific research projects, she keeps pace with the cutting-edge of the discipline, focusing on the occurrence and development mechanism of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. She has published 1 high-quality SCI journal paper and 1 poster in international academic conferences.

Devoting to Student Work with PassionAs Secretary of the Youth League Branch, Bai Yitong gives full play to her role in ideological guidance among young people. She promotes the recruitment of Communist Youth League members, achieving a 100% league membership rate in her class. Her branch has been continuously rated as a "Five-Star Branch" in the standard evaluation and has won the titles of "Peking University Excellent Youth League Branch" and "Peking University Health Science Center Excellent Youth League Branch". As a core member of the Student Youth League General Branch, she plans and implements multiple sessions of the college's "Mentorship Series Activities for Medical Researchers", making positive contributions to the construction of a peer guidance and mutual assistance system.
