Dr. Hongqiang Ye is a Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology. He currently serves as Director of the Denture Processing Center, Deputy Director of the Department of Prosthodontics, Director of the Teaching and Research Section of Stomatological Medical Technology, and Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Section of Virtual Simulation.

Academic Appointments: Dr. Ye is a member and academic secretary of both the Specialty Committee of Dental Prosthetics Technology and the Specialty Committee of Oral and Maxillofacial Rehabilitation of the Chinese Stomatological Association. He is also a young member of the Specialty Committee of Computer Science in Stomatology of the Chinese Stomatological Association, a director of the Dental, Maxillofacial and Facial Medical Aesthetics Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastics and Aesthetics, and a member of the Dental Aesthetics Committee of the Beijing Stomatological Association. In addition, he is a recognized expert in the National Graduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring Expert Database and serves as a reviewer for multiple domestic and international journals.

Dr. Ye has led more than 10 digital technology-related projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He received the First Prize of the Beijing Technological Invention Award. He has published over 60 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI-indexed papers as first author or corresponding author in internationally recognized journals such as the  Journal of Dentistry ,  Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry ,  Journal of Prosthodontic Research , and  Journal of Prosthodontics , as well as over 10 papers in leading Chinese core journals. He holds more than 10 authorized invention patents, has contributed to five textbooks or monographs, and participated in the development of six industry group standards.

Main Research Directions:

Research, development, and application of digital dental prosthetics technology and dental prosthetics process technology; research, development, and application of virtual reality technology in dental prosthetics.

Clinical Expertise:

Digital aesthetic restoration; digital all-ceramic restoration; implant restoration; digital complete denture restoration, etc.
