Dr. Yijiao Zhao is a Master's Supervisor in Stomatological Medical Technology and a Senior Engineer. Dr. Zhao serves as the Director of the Technology Department of the National Engineering Research Center for Oral Biomaterials and Digital Diagnosis and Treatment Equipment. She is a member and academic secretary of the Specialty Committee of Computer Science in Stomatology of the Chinese Stomatological Association, a standing committee member and academic secretary of the Specialty Committee of Digital Stomatology of the Beijing Stomatological Association, a member of the Specialty Committee of Medical Additive Manufacturing of the Chinese Association of Medical Equipment, and a member of the Additive Manufacturing Technology Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.

Dr. Zhao has long been engaged in the research and development of digital technologies in stomatology, and has conducted in-depth research on three-dimensional digital modeling in stomatology, three-dimensional measurement and analysis of stomatological medical data, and the development of related software algorithms. She has presided over three national and provincial-level projects, and has participated as a key member in more than ten national and provincial-level scientific research projects. She has been involved in applying for more than twenty national invention patents (including five as the first inventor, with four patents successfully commercialized), and has participated in obtaining more than ten software copyrights. Dr. Zhao has published more than 100 academic papers, including over thirty SCI/EI-indexed papers. She has received two provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards, the First Prize for Educational and Teaching Achievements of Peking University Health Science Center, Peking University, and Beijing Municipality, and the First Prize for Educational and Teaching Achievements in Postgraduate Medical Education awarded by the Working Committee of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Chinese Society for Degrees and Postgraduate Education. She also served as the associate editor for the publication of  Digital Technology in Stomatology  (an innovative textbook published by People's Medical Publishing House).
