Dr. Yuguang Wang is an Associate Professor, Deputy Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, and a recognized Young Talent in the National Ten Thousand Talents Program. He received his Ph.D. from Peking University Health Science Center and was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, in the United States. Currently, Dr. Wang serves as a young member of the Laser Specialty Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association and a young member of the Computer Specialty Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association.

His research focuses on the interdisciplinary application of optical technologies and light-responsive materials in stomatology. Internationally, Dr. Wang was the first to propose a new method of precisely controlling calcium ion channels using short-wavelength visible light for the treatment of oral diseases, and elucidated the key mechanisms by which low-energy green light promotes bone differentiation and regeneration. He developed a new generation of implant systems based on low-energy laser pulse sequences, achieving a significant breakthrough in the functionalization of implant healing abutments, and proposed a novel solution for integrated oral implantation with both antibacterial and bone regeneration capabilities.

Dr. Wang has published 28 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Advanced Materials, Nano Today, Advanced Functional Materials, and Small Methods. He has undertaken a total of 11 research projects, including General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research Program. He has been granted six patents, some of which have been successfully commercialized and are undergoing industrialization, with a medical device registration certificate expected to be obtained soon.
