Dr. Yi Du, a Doctor of Engineering, Senior Engineer, and Master's Supervisor, is a medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Peking University Cancer Hospital. He obtained his doctoral degree in 2017. During his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Du conducted academic exchange at Macquarie University in Australia. From 2017 to 2019, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at Peking University Cancer Hospital.
Dr. Du has presided over six research projects, including those funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. As first author or corresponding author, he has published six SCI-indexed papers and more than ten papers in core academic journals. As the first inventor, he has applied for five invention patents.
His main research interests include three-dimensional gel dosimetry, low-dose cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging, respiratory motion management in radiotherapy, and surface-guided radiotherapy (SGRT).
Currently, Dr. Du serves as a young member of the Ionizing Radiation Committee of the China Metrology and Testing Society.
