Yawei Zhang, MD, is an Associate Researcher and Master's Supervisor at Peking University People's Hospital. She conducted joint PhD training at University of Edinburgh as a state-sponsored scholar. She is the Principal Investigator of one NSFC Young Scientists Fund and one NSFC General Program, key participant in one National Key R&D Program of China. She has published 9 SCI papers as first/co-first author in  Journal of Infection  and  Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy , including 3 ESI Highly Cited Papers (Top 1%). Her representative awards include the Second Prize of Science and Technology Award (Chinese Preventive Medicine Association), the Third Prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, and the Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis Supervisor (Beijing Municipal Education Commission).
