Henan Li, MD, is an Associate Researcher and the Doctoral Supervisor at the Peking University People's Hospital. She is the PI of 2 NSFC projects, one Beijing Natural Science Foundation project, and multiple Peking University People's Hospital R&D funds. She also participates in many other national-level, MOST, and Beijing municipal projects. She has contributed to 3 invention patents and published 10+ SCI papers as first/corresponding author.

Representative Awards: Peking University People's Hospital Academic Rising Star and Outstanding Youth; Fourth Contributor to Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award and Third Prize of Huaxia Medical Care International Exchange Promotion Award; Fifth Contributor to Second Prize of Science and Technology Award (Chinese Preventive Medicine Association).

She is the co-author of  Clinical Microbiology Laboratory Technology , Contributor to  Expert Consensus on Reporting Standards for Bacterial  and  Fungal Smear Microscopy and Culture Results , Contributor to health industry standard  Technical Requirements for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing , and the Translator of 12th Edition Manual of Clinical Microbiology. She is the Committee Member of Clinical Microbiology Branch, China Medical Association for Health Promotion and Education and the Committee Member of Youth Teachers Innovation Alliance in Laboratory Medicine. She teaches undergraduate, graduate, and visiting students at Department of Laboratory Medicine at Peking University.

Research Directions: bacterial resistance and evolutionary mechanisms, novel clinical microbiology diagnostic technologies.
