Shuguang Li, PhD, is an Associate Researcher at the Peking University People's Hospital. He has published 9 SCI papers as first/co-first author, 3 core journal articles, and is the lead author of one national bacterial resistance surveillance report. He is also the co-author of  Molecular Diagnostics: Huge Impact on the Improvement of Public Health in China  (Chapter 21, 2016). He is the PI of one NSFC project and key participant in one National Key R&D Program. He is the Committee Member of Infectious Diseases Research Group, Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee, Chinese Research Hospital Association. He participates in the teaching of  Clinical Microbiology Laboratory Testing  for undergraduates and 8-year program students.

Research Directions: novel clinical microbiology testing technologies, bacterial/fungal epidemiology and resistance mechanisms.
