Hongbin Chen, PhD, is an Associate Researcher and the Master's Supervisor at Peking University People's Hospital. He was the Visiting Scholar in Bioinformatics at University College London (2017-2018).

Research Directions:

1) Mechanisms of bacterial resistance;

2) Comparative bacterial genomics.

PI of 4 NSFC projects; PI of one National Key R&D Program subproject; PI of one National Science and Technology Major Project subproject; PI of one Beijing Natural Science Foundation project; PI of one Beijing Science and Technology Plan subproject.

He has published 25 SCI papers as first/corresponding author in  Genome Medicine ,  Clinical Infectious Diseases , etc. (total IF 158; highest single article IF 15.266), 7 core Chinese journal articles, and one authorized patent.
