Hao Wu is a Senior Engineer (Professor-level), Chief Physicist, Master's Supervisor, and the Deputy Director of Radiotherapy Department at Peking University Cancer Hospital. His research directions include quality assurance and quality control of radiotherapy equipment, techniques and workflows, machine learning and artificial intelligence-assisted automated radiotherapy solutions. His professional affiliations include the National-level Expert for Radiation Health Technology Review, Committee Member of Radiation Health Standards Committee of the National Health Standards Commission, Committee Member of Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Dosimetry Equipment Branch of the National Medical Electrical Equipment Standardization Committee, Standing Committee Member of Radiation Medicine and Protection Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and the Editorial Board Member of  Chinese Journal of Radiological Medicine and Protection . His is the PI of National Key R&D Program of China - Major Scientific Instrument Development Project, PI of Public Welfare Industry Research Special Fund for Quality Inspection, and PI of Beijing Hospital Administration Cultivation Program. His has published 14 SCI papers as first/corresponding author and is the chief drafter of 1 National Standard and 3 Industry Standards.
