Yanye Lu is an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Medical Technology, Peking University Health Science Center. His research focuses on pioneering artificial intelligence (AI) and machine vision solutions for medical imaging, with particular emphasis on weakly-supervised and unsupervised learning for AI-driven medical imaging systems and diagnostic assistants. He has made a series achievements on the development of intelligent medical imaging device and the advancement of AI-powered medical image processing technologies. In the field of medical imaging device development, he has constructed a four-modality small animal molecular imaging system and developed a spectral CT simulation platform and speckle/OCT optical imaging platforms for small animals. For AI-based medical imaging research, he has conducted pioneering studies in image reconstruction, enhancement, classification and segmentation. He has published over 50 academic papers with 31 as first/corresponding author (22 as sole first/corresponding author) in top-tier journals and conferences, including  IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging , CVPR, ICCV, and ECCV. He holds 13 authorized patents, with 6 patents having been commercialized.
