Ruogu Meng is an Associate Researcher at the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University. She received her PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Peking University School of Public Health.

Research Directions:

Health data science, chronic disease epidemiology, and pharmacoepidemiology.

Main Research Contents:

1) Construction and validation of healthcare big data quality evaluation systems;

2) Etiology and prognostic factors of diabetes based on large-scale population cohorts;

3) Post-marketing safety surveillance of drugs/vaccines using real-world data.

She is the PI of one NSFC Young Scientists Fund, one Peking University Medical Youth Science and Technology Innovation Fund, and multiple government/industry collaborative projects, and the key participant in National Key R&D Programs and NSFC Major Projects. She has published research in  The Lancet Digital Health ,  International Journal of Epidemiology , and  Heart . She is the Deputy Editor of  Development of Xujiang Medicine in the Era of Big Data: Data, Research, Evidence , the Contributor to monographs  Introduction to Medical Science  and  Technology Management and Introduction to Health Data Science .
