Guilan Kong, PhD, is an Associate Researcher and Graduate Student Supervisor at the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University. She is the Vice Chair of Intelligent Healthcare Branch of the China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Standing Committee Member of Health Medical Big Data Application and Management Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association, and Standing Committee Member of Data Analysis Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Medicine Research Association. With long-term commitment to interdisciplinary research in AI and medicine, her main research focuses on intelligent medical decision-making including healthcare big data mining, clinical decision support systems, comprehensive healthcare quality evaluation, and learning health systems. She is the PI of multiple research projects including NSFC, MOE Humanities and Social Science Fund, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation Key Program. She is also the sub-task Leader of National Key R&D Program of China "New Generation Artificial Intelligence" under MOST. She is the Chinese Expert of IDIH Expert Group under EU Horizon 2020 Program.
