Qingchao Chen, is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Health Data Science at Peking University. He received his PhD from Centre for Doctoral Training in Medical Imaging, University College London (UK), followed by his postdoctoral research at Department of Engineering, University of Oxford (UK), and was an Honorary Researcher at UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing and Oxford Institute of Biomedical Engineering.

Research Directions: multimodal machine learning, medical image analysis, radar system design and radar-based human sensing.

He has published 20+ papers in top-tier conferences/journals, such as AAAI, CVPR, ECCV (CCF-A List),  IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE Communications Magazine ,  IEEE RadarConf , and  International Radar Conference . He also contributed to 2 international monograph chapters. He is the Program Committee Member for CCF-A conferences (CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, MICCAI) and serves as Reviewer for  IEEE Sensors Journal  and  Pattern Recognition   Journal .
