Dr. Linlin Wang is a researcher and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Reproductive Health at Peking University, Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Reproductive Health of the National Health Commission, and a Doctoral Supervisor. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Nutrition and Food Hygiene from Peking University in 2009. Her primary research areas include precision nutrition and nutrition and reproductive health.
Dr. Wang is actively engaged in the research of precision nutrition in breast milk. She has systematically analyzed the component content of breast milk at different lactation stages, conducted functional studies on emerging breast milk components, and explored the influencing factors of breast milk composition. At the same time, she is focused on the research and application of the etiological mechanisms behind reproductive health and birth defects, investigating the occurrence and development patterns of reproductive health issues from both nutritional and genetic perspectives.
She has led several national and provincial-level research projects, including major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. As first author or corresponding author, Dr. Wang has published over 80 papers in internationally recognized journals, contributed to eight monographs in both Chinese and English, and holds several invention patents.
Dr. Wang has taught the postgraduate course "Epidemiology and Precision Medicine" and the undergraduate course "Precision Nutrition". She serves as an expert for the final evaluation of projects by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Talent Exchange Service Center of the National Health Commission, and the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Reproductive Health Industry Association. Additionally, she is the Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Health Management Special Committee of the China Medicine Education Association.
Dr. Wang has received several scientific research awards, including the Beijing Science and Technology Award, the Scientific Research Achievement Award from the Ministry of Education, and the Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Medical Association.
